Microblading Course Curriculum
The first day of our AMA microblading course will walk you through the basics of microblading as well as who the best candidates may be. Our instructors will also teach on the necessary sterilization and safety measures needed, brow mapping, different types of blades and how to use them, hair stroke patterns, and more.
The rest of the course will be focused on utilizing the information and skills taught on the first day and putting them into practice to build your microblading skills. Discover our upcoming microblading courses today!

PMU Course Houston Curriculum
AMA also provides permanent make-up (PMU) courses in Houston for those looking to expand their knowledge on eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip blush techniques. The first few days of the course will be focused on eyebrows as you discover everything there is to know about ombre, powdered, and hybrid brow styles. Throughout the next couple days our instructors will provide you with knowledge about different eyeliner styles from basic lash enhancement to smokey or stardust eyeliners. Lastly, we will explore in-depth lip blush techniques to help you create natural looking lips with long-lasting color.
Course Duration
Our AMA microblading courses occur over a three day period, running from 9 am to 5 pm each day. A lunch break is also included each day.
Our PMU course in Houston stretches over a seven day period. The first three days will cover eyebrows, two days for eyeliners, and two days focused on lip blush.
